‘Courses, Qualifications and Careers’ S4 workshop
Broughton High School, Edinburgh
This is the fast moving quiz style workshop where you assist a group of S4 pupils (14-15 year olds) with the various rounds of the quiz including the very competitive ‘University Course – true or false’ and the popular ‘spot the student’ round. Your job is to encourage the pupils to discuss the questions and reach agreement as a group. The workshop also often stimulates other questions from pupils related to university life.
If you are interested in signing up for this workshop please drop me an email claire.aitchison@ed.ac.uk and let me know if you would like transport to the school. The meeting time for this workshop is 9am at the LEAPS office. We’ll make sure you are dropped back there after the workshop about 11.10ish.
If you would rather make your own way there we are happy to meet you at the school office at 9.30am – just let me know please.
As you may have noticed there are 2 x S4 workshops running one after another at Broughton on this date. When you email me please state in your email if you would like attend the first workshop (9.40-10.40), the second workshop (11.00-12.00) or both. Thanks!
