S4 'Courses, Qualifications and Careers' workshop
Drummond High School, Edinburgh
This is the fast moving quiz style workshop where you assist a group of S4 pupils (14-15 year olds) with the various rounds of the quiz including the very competitive 'University Course - true or false' and the popular 'spot the student' round. Your job is to encourage the pupils to discuss the questions and reach agreement as a a group. This workshop also often stimulates other questions from pupils related to university life.
If you are interested in signing up for this workshop please drop me an email claire.aitchison@ed.ac.uk and let me know if would like transport to the school.
As you will notice, we are delivering the S4 workshop several times on the morning of 30 November. If you have some time to spare and can do more than one of the sessions that would be great but however many sessions you choose we will make sure you are collected and dropped back off at the LEAPS office.
The meeting time for this first workshop is 8.10am at the LEAPS office and you will be dropped back there after the workshop about 9.50ish. If you would rather make your own way there we are happy to meet you at the school office at 8.30am - just let me know please.
