S5 'Typical Student Week' workshop
Leith Academy, Edinburgh

THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN CANCELLED AT SHORT NOTICE BY THE SCHOOL TODAY (MON 16 NOV). THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN OFTEN AND WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED.

For the S5 workshop you will be working with a small group of S5 pupils (15-16 year olds). The pupils have to find out as much as they can about your typical week at university and plot activities on a weekly planner. They compare your typical week with their own school timetable and also get the chance to find how your 'typical student week' compares with other student volunteers studying different subjects at different universities. For this exercise it is best if you can tell the group about your first year at university but if you can't remember that in much detail then your current timetable will do nicely.

If you are interested in signing up for this workshop please drop me an email claire.aitchison@ed.ac.uk and let me know if would like transport to the school. The meeting time for this workshop is 12.45am at the LEAPS office and we'll make sure you are dropped back there after the workshop about 2.50ish. If you would rather make your own way there we are happy to meet you at the school office at 1.10am - just let me know please.
