This is a new conference for S5 school students considering the HN route at college.
As this is different to other LEAPS activities, this event is open to those who have the experience of attending college and have studied an HNC/D before university. As ever, just email alice.c.smith@ed.ac.uk to sign up. We will then confirm details closer to the time.
Pupils who come along will attend short presentations by speakers and a selection of workshops. Your role as a volunteer could involve one or more of the following activities:
- assist staff with the setting up of the venue
- assist staff with the registration of arriving students
- mingle and chat informally with pupils as they arrive and during break
- take part in a workshop focusing on the HN ‘student experience’
- star on our ‘panel’
