S4 ‘Qualifications, Courses & Careers’ workshop

If you would like to sign up for this workshop please email me on claire.aitchison@ed.ac.uk. The meeting time is 12.45 at the LEAPS office and you will be back around 3.00.
If requested we can provide a pick up/drop off at Queen Margaret University (time TBC). Alternatively, you could meet us at the school reception before the workshop at 1.25 if you live in or near Tranent. Please specify your preferred method for getting to the workshop when you get in touch.

This is the fast moving quiz style workshop where you assist a group of S4 pupils (14-15 year olds) with the various rounds of the quiz including the very competitive ‘university course – true or false’ and the popular ‘spot the student’ round. Your job is to encourage the pupils to discuss the questions and reach agreement as a group. The workshop also often stimulates other questions from pupils relating to university life.
