The pupils in your group have to discuss and work out with the aid of a calculator, what the case study student’s expenditure is for a typical week at university. They also have to discuss and figure out what income their case study student has available to them during the academic year to pay for their student lifestyle. Your role is to make sure the group is working together, discussing the case study and reaching agreement before writing down their answers. More importantly, we would also like you to share with your pupils your own experiences of getting by on a student budget.
