Apologies for the inconvenience! If you would like to sign up for this workshop please email me on claire.aitchison@ed.ac.uk. The meeting time is 9.30 at the LEAPS office and you will be back around 12.45 (ish). Alternatively we can provide a pick up/drop off at Heriot Watt as it’s en route to the school OR you could meet us at the school reception at time 10.35 if you live in or near Whitrburn. Please specify your preferred option when you get in touch. For a summary of the S5 workshop please see below; For the S5 workshop you will be working with a small group of S5 pupils (15-16 year olds). The pupils have to find out as much as they can about your typical week at university and plot your activities on a weekly planner. They also calculate how many hours you spend on each activity per week. For this exercise it is best if you can tell the group about your first year at university but if you can’t remember that in much detail then your current timetable will do nicely! Roy and Claire will be leading this workshop and so far the following volunteers have signed up; Gemma Bu. Louise McC. Catherine Be. Rosie Ka. Jamie Re. Sally Ab. Mhairi St. (meeting us at school reception at 10.35)
