Wednesday 23 March, 11.45-12.45 (6-8 volunteers required) S5 ‘Typical Student Week’ workshop Forrester High School, Edinburgh If you would like to sign up for this workshop please email me on claire.aitchison@ed.ac.uk. The meeting time is 11.05 at the LEAPS office and you will be back around 1.15 (ish). A pick up/drop off at Heriot Watt is also available if requested (time TBC). Alternatively you could meet us at the school reception at 11.35 if you live near the school. Please specify your preferred option when you get in touch. For a summary of the S5 workshop please see below; For the S5 workshop you will be working with a small group of S5 pupils (15-16 year olds). The pupils have to find out as much as they can about your typical week at university and plot your activities on a weekly planner. They also calculate how many hours you spend on each activity per week. For this exercise it is best if you can tell the group about your first year at university but if you can’t remember that in much detail then your current timetable will do nicely!
