S4 ‘Courses, Qualifications and Careers’ Workshop

If you would like to sign up for this workshop please email me on claire.aitchison@ed.ac.uk. The meeting time is 11.45 at the LEAPS office and you will be back around 5.00(ish). As it’s a bit further to travel we will be running this workshop twice with 2 different classes, one after another.

This is the fast moving quiz style workshop where you assist a group of S4 pupils (14-15 year olds) with the various rounds of the quiz including the very competitive ‘university course – true or false’ and the popular ‘spot the student’ round. Your job is to encourage the pupils to discuss the questions and reach agreement as a group. The workshop also often stimulates other questions from pupils relating to university life.
Alice and Roy will be leading this workshop and Roy will also be driving a minibus down there so we can take oodles and oodles of you lovely volunteering types!!!! So far the following students have signed up;
