‘Courses, Qualifications and Careers’ S4 workshop

The meeting time is 8.15am at the LEAPS office and you will be back around 1.30pm. This one is a wee bit longer as we are running 2 workshops one after another - we really are that keen! As it’s pretty early we will provide some breakfast goods for you to have on your way down to Eyemouth. You will get back to Edinburgh around 1.30pm.

This is the fast moving quiz style workshop where you assist a group of S4 pupils (14-15 year olds) with the various rounds of the quiz including the very competitive ‘university course – true or false’ and the popular ‘spot the student’ round. Your job is to encourage the pupils to discuss the questions and reach agreement as a group. The workshop also often stimulates other questions from pupils relating to university life.
