The meeting time is 1.20pm at the LEAPS office and you will be back around 5.00pm. There will be a pick up at Stirling Uni in front of the Pathfoot Building at 2.15pm and you will be dropped off back there after the workshop around 4ish.
For a summary of the S6 workshop please see below;
During the S6 workshop you will be working with a small group of S6 pupils (16-17 year olds) on a student case study. The pupils in your group have to discuss and work out with the aid of a calculator, what the case study student’s expenditure is for a typical week at university. They also have to discuss and figure out what income their case study student has available to them during the academic year to pay for their student lifestyle. Your role is to make sure the group is working together, discussing the case study and reaching agreement before writing down their answers. More importantly, we would also like you to share with your pupils your own experiences of getting by on a student budget.
Jason and Roy will be leading this workshop and so far the following students have signed up;
