30 March, S5 workshop, Musselburgh Grammar, 9.50-10.50........NEW!!!!

Monday 30 March, 9.50-10.50 (10-12 volunteers required!!!)
‘Typical Student Week’ S5 workshop
Musselburgh Grammar, Musselburgh, East Lothian

This is a re-arranged date for this workshop. It was meant to take place earlier in the month. Anyway, we have 2 groups of 40 pupils on this date/time so we are looking for as many volunteers as possible to help out with this one. Pretty please!

For the S5 workshop you will be working with a small group of S5 pupils (15-16 year olds). The pupils have to find out as much as they can about your typical week at university and plot your activities on a weekly planer. They also calculate how many hours you spend on each activity per week. For this exercise it is best if you can tell the group about your first year at university but if you can’t remember that in much detail then your current timetable will do nicely.

If you are interested in signing up for this workshop please drop Claire an claire.aitchison@ed.ac.uk and let me know if you would like transport to the school. The meeting time for this workshop is 9.05 at the LEAPS office and we’ll drop you back there after the workshop about 11.20. If you would rather make your own way there we are happy to meet you at the school office at 9.40 – just let me know please.

Similiarly for those volunteers based at Queen Margaret we could pick you up on the way to the school. Just pop me an email please and we can arrange a suitable time.
