‘Courses, Qualifications and Careers’ S4 workshop
Liberton High School, Edinburgh
This is the fast moving quiz style workshop where you assist a group of S4 pupils (14-15 year olds) with the various rounds of the quiz including the very competitive ‘University Course – true or false’ and the popular ‘spot the student’ round. Your job is to encourage the pupils to discuss the questions and reach agreement as a group. The workshop also often stimulates other questions from pupils related to university life.
If you would like to take part please email me claire.aitchison@ed.ac.uk. The meeting time for this workshop is 11.20 at the LEAPS office. Neil Speirs from Edinburgh University will be leading this one and will travel over to the school with you by taxi. If you would prefer to make your own way there we can meet you at the school office at 11.45. Just let me know and I will forward you the address of the school along with a map.
